The hand puppet was taking a little more time to make...so i decided to make the man -woman pair of finger puppets.

This one is called - carla and her un photographed partner is called alberto .My camera died before he could be photographed and anyway crala was the prettier one :)

This one is a gift from a friend of mine.he was back from portugal and couldnt stop raving about the place and this pretty french girl called aenise'.

This was the first hand puppet i got and we decided to name her aenise'.......:)

This one is from a long time ago.

she's an actual stuffed doll with button details and a bun at the back of her head and all.she's super classy;) and her name is gangu ben!

This is Saraswati-cause Oshto the tailor who made her gave her very bengali sleepy...irrespective of my begging him not to.

Life in the indutrial estate-Oshto and the embroidery machine!

You take a piece of paper (possibly, one that is dirty and lying on the ground) and grab a pencil....you draw wobbly lines and add details...you make the person come alive with some colour and you try to capture detail irrespective of the lack of technical drawing...you tell yourself midway..."oh i need to change my style"..."I have done stuff like this before......new new!!"

...And then you finish it.....look hard and smile.....(u like this piece).......oh shit**...(i ought to kill my darlings and not fall in every little crap of paper i doodle on.....) but then .......you still go on and upload it :)

P.S: Ostho, the tailor is called Ostho cause he is the eighth child to his parents and they decided to name him "eight" in bengali to keep it simple.
